A quick and flavorful dish featuring salmon fillets coated with a spicy blend of seasonings, perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests.

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix the Spice Harmony: In a small bowl, mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of each fillet.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
  4. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until a dark crust forms.
  5. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are opaque and flaky.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
