  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Marinate the Beef: Add the sliced beef, onion, and carrot to the marinade, ensuring the beef is well-coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the Grill Pan: Preheat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the Marinated Beef: Cook the marinated beef in batches for about 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For best results, use partially frozen beef for easier slicing. Let the beef marinate longer for deeper flavor.
