A quick and delicious beef and broccoli stir fry that brings the family together, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (thinly sliced, flank steak or sirloin)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate the sliced beef in this mixture for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the Pan: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Aromatize the Oil: Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Brown the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Broccoli: Add broccoli and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Season to Perfection: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve Hot: Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Pair with jasmine rice or udon noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
