Delicious jumbo pasta shells filled with creamy ricotta and gooey mozzarella, baked in rich marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Prepare the cheese filling by mixing ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Create a base by spreading half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells on top of the marinara sauce.
  7. Add the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  8. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

Don’t overcook the pasta; they will continue cooking in the oven. Customize the filling with vegetables for added flavor.
