  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sliced apples with cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Combine rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, melted butter, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Spread the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond flour or a gluten-free blend. Optionally, add nuts for extra crunch.
