  • 1 lb smoked sausage, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup green beans, chopped
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken and sausage: In a large pot or Dutch oven, combine the chicken, smoked sausage, and chicken broth. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Introduce the veggies: Add the diced tomatoes, corn, green beans, onions, carrots, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and thyme to the pot.
  4. Let it simmer: Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly and let your stew simmer for another 30-45 minutes.
