Delicious dumplings with a crunchy rice paper wrapper filled with savory ground pork and vibrant vegetables, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

Ingredients

  • Rice Paper Wrappers
  • Ground Pork
  • Chopped Vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cabbage)
  • Ginger (minced)
  • Soy Sauce
  • Sesame Oil
  • Green Onions (sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped vegetables, minced ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix everything together until well combined.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Take a rice paper wrapper and soak it in the water for about 10-15 seconds until softened but still slightly firm.
  3. Place the moist rice paper on a clean surface. Spoon a small amount of the filling into the center of the wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling, then roll from the bottom up, tucking the ends in tightly.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil. Once hot, add your dumplings in batches. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they’re golden brown and crispy.
  5. Once cooked, transfer your dumplings to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Sprinkle them with sliced green onions for an extra touch of flavor.

Notes

Make sure your filling isn’t too wet, or else it will seep through the rice paper. Use fresh ingredients for best results. Feel free to swap out the ground pork for chicken, tofu, or shrimp based on your preference.
