Deliciously moist and fluffy vanilla cupcakes, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the whole milk until just mixed.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners about two-thirds full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cupcakes in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

Serve topped with buttercream frosting or a dusting of powdered sugar. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
