Soft and fluffy vanilla cupcakes perfect for any occasion, topped with your favorite frosting.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt until combined.
  3. Beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, alternating with the milk until just mixed.
  6. Fill the cupcake liners two-thirds full with the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
