Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain and mash them.
  2. Stir in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, green onions, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool, then shape into balls.
  4. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs to coat thoroughly.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the potato balls in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
