Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until fully combined. Press it into a greased baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes and let it cool completely.
  4. Combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract until silky smooth.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans and chocolate chunks.
  6. Pour the filling over the cooled crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the filling is set but jiggles slightly.
  8. Heat the heavy cream until simmering and pour it over the chocolate chunks to make the ganache.
  9. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled pie and let it set completely before serving.

Notes

Ensure the crust cools completely before adding the filling to avoid sogginess. You can use a pre-made pie crust for convenience.
