A delightful twist on traditional spaghetti, transforming it into a baked pie filled with rich meat sauce and gooey cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat and stir in marinara sauce.
  3. Mix cooked spaghetti, eggs, half the mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round baking dish.
  5. Layer half of the spaghetti mixture in the greased dish.
  6. Add the meat sauce over the spaghetti layer.
  7. Add the remaining spaghetti and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella and the Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.

Notes

Let the pie cool slightly before cutting. Can substitute ground turkey or use different cheeses.
