  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together, creating a rich foundation for our dish.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 2 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine, letting it simmer for 3 minutes.
  6. After three minutes, add the fresh lemon juice to elevate the dish.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the skillet with the shrimp and sauce until everything is beautifully coated.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Opt for fresh, high-quality shrimp for the best flavor. Salt your pasta water well for better taste.
