A delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, featuring nutty pistachios and creamy mascarpone.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup ladyfingers (approximately 24)
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace by gathering all ingredients and tools.
  2. Mix the mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the crushed pistachios gently into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled coffee.
  5. Create layers with the soaked ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture, finishing with mascarpone on top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least four hours before serving.
  7. Garnish with cocoa powder just before serving.

Notes

Ensure mascarpone is at room temperature for easier mixing. A quick dunk is key to keep ladyfingers from becoming soggy.
