  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  2. Brown the diced chicken until golden.
  3. Mix in the BBQ sauce and honey, stirring to combine.
  4. Simmer with chicken broth until bubbling.
  5. Add penne pasta and chopped bell pepper, stirring to combine.
  6. Cover and cook for 12-15 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider substituting BBQ sauce with teriyaki sauce or adding grated cheese towards the end of cooking.
