Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat and cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Remove from skillet and slice.
In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter and add minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute, allowing the garlic to become fragrant but not burnt.
Add heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and mix until well coated in the sauce. Place the sliced chicken on top, inviting their flavors to mingle.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
