Delicious muffins combining the sweetness of bananas with the rich flavor of Nutella.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Combine the mashed bananas and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in.
  5. Gradually add the flour, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into muffin cups, filling each about halfway.
  7. Add a generous spoonful of Nutella on top of each batter portion and swirl it in.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
