Nutella Banana Swirl Muffins

Delicious muffins combining ripe bananas and rich Nutella for a sweet breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
  4. Sprinkle in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  5. Mix in the sugar and beaten egg, along with the vanilla extract.
  6. Add the flour and mix until just combined.
  7. Scoop the batter into the muffin tin, filling each cup about halfway.
  8. Add a dollop of Nutella on top of each muffin and swirl it gently.
  9. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let them cool before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
