Instructions

  1. Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Combine the Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, mix the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Prepare the Cinnamon Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  5. Heat the Skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the skillet.
  7. Create the Swirl: While the pancake is cooking, swirl a teaspoon of the cinnamon mixture on top.
  8. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
  9. Make the Icing: Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
  10. Drizzle the icing over your warm pancakes and serve immediately.
