A comforting pasta dish coated in a rich and creamy mushroom sauce, perfect for any night.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta of choice (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 2 cups fresh mushrooms (cremini or button), sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the Water – Start by boiling salted water in a large pot.
  2. Cook the Pasta – Add your choice of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Sauté the Mushrooms and Garlic – In a skillet, melt butter, add mushrooms and garlic, and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Create the Cream Sauce – Pour in heavy cream and simmer the mixture until it thickens slightly.
  5. Add the Cheese – Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper, using reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Toss the Pasta – Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the creamy sauce and toss together.
  7. Plate and Garnish – Serve the pasta in bowls, garnished with fresh parsley.
