  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 12 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Dried herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half but keep them connected.
  3. Butter both outer sides of the rolls generously.
  4. Place the cheese slices between the roll halves.
  5. Sprinkle garlic powder and dried herbs on the cheese if desired.
  6. Wrap the rolls in foil and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  8. Slice and serve warm.
