A creamy and comforting chicken pasta casserole that is perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups penne pasta
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Sauté chicken until golden brown, about 6–8 minutes per side. Remove and let rest.
  4. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream and soy sauce, stirring to combine. Simmer gently for a minute.
  6. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  7. Chop the rested chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  8. Combine the chicken with the cooked pasta and creamy sauce until evenly coated.
  9. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Pairs well with green salad and garlic bread. Can be stored in the refrigerator for 3–4 days.
