A rich and creamy dip that offers just the right amount of heat, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh jalapeños, chopped (about 34 jalapeños)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup bacon bits
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, half of the cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, and bacon bits in a mixing bowl, blending until smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Top the mixture with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle with green onions.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with tortilla chips or fresh veggies.

Notes

Adjust the heat by deseeding jalapeños or using canned versions. Can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
