A fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth frosting bursting with the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries.

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries, then chop them into small pieces.
  2. Blend the chopped strawberries in a blender until smooth.
  3. Beat the softened butter with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  4. Mix in the sifted powdered sugar, then add the heavy cream and vanilla extract.
  5. Incorporate the strawberry puree into the mixture.
  6. Final whip the frosting on high speed for another minute until light and fluffy.

Notes

Use room temperature butter for the best texture. Substitute fresh strawberries with high-quality strawberry puree if needed.
