A delightful, moist cake layered with creamy vanilla pudding and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer picnics and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of whipped topping
  • 1 cup of chopped strawberries or fruit of choice
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the box of white cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.
  3. Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking dish and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth, then let thicken for about 5 minutes.
  5. Spread the vanilla pudding over the cooled cake evenly.
  6. Mix the chopped strawberries with sugar and vanilla extract, and let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
  7. Spread the sweetened strawberries over the pudding layer.
  8. Crown the cake with a generous layer of whipped topping.
  9. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Let the cake cool completely before adding pudding and toppings. You can use any fruit of your choice, or experiment with different cake and pudding flavors.
