Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, these Golden Fries are a delightful treat that brings joy to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Optional seasonings (paprika, garlic powder)

Instructions

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips.
  2. Rinse the potato strips in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Fry the potato strips in batches for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain the fries on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  6. Season with salt and sprinkle optional seasonings while hot.

Notes

Store leftover fries in an airtight container for up to three days. Reheat in the oven to restore crispiness.
