Deliciously rich and fudgy flourless brownies made with dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  3. Whisk the sugar and eggs together until the mixture is light and frothy.
  4. Combine the melted chocolate into the egg-sugar blend gradually.
  5. Add the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Cool before slicing for cleaner cuts.

Notes

Store tightly covered at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for a week.
