A comforting meal of spaghetti served in crispy garlic bread bowls, perfect for gatherings or simple weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise and scoop out some of the bread from the center to create bowls.
  3. Mix the butter and minced garlic together. Spread this mixture generously onto the inside of the bread halves.
  4. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions and then drain.
  6. Heat the marinara sauce over medium heat and stir in the cooked spaghetti. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Carefully fill the bread bowls with the spaghetti mixture.
  8. Top the filled bread bowls with grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil before serving.
