Delightful tacos filled with savory ground chicken and sweet teriyaki glaze, encased in crispy wonton wrappers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 tablespoon oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Sweet and sour sauce (for serving)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the chicken in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the teriyaki sauce and allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes until glazed.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
  4. Place a small spoonful of the chicken mixture onto each wonton wrapper.
  5. Fold the wrapper to form tacos, sealing edges with water.
  6. Fry the tacos in hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve hot, topped with lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, sweet and sour sauce, and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a healthier option, bake the wonton tacos at 375°F for 10-12 minutes instead of frying.
