A delightful blend of robust Cajun flavors and creamy white cheddar cheese, this dish is perfect for a cozy dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta by bringing a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside while we prepare the creamy sauce.
  2. Heat the skillet by drizzling olive oil in a large skillet and heating it over medium-high heat for that perfect sear on the steak.
  3. Sauté the steak by seasoning the bite-sized steak pieces with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Once the skillet is hot, add the seasoned steak and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until beautifully browned.
  4. Add the cream by reducing the heat and pouring the heavy cream into the skillet with the steak. Stir well to combine.
  5. Melt in the cheese by sprinkling shredded white cheddar cheese and stirring gently until it melts into the creamy sauce.
  6. Toss in the pasta by adding the cooked penne to the skillet and mixing thoroughly to ensure the pasta is coated in sauce.
  7. Garnish and serve your Creamy White Cheddar Cajun Steak Penne immediately with a sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

Adjust seasoning with additional Cajun spice or salt as needed. For spiciness, add cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
