Succulent chicken breasts are sautéed in a velvety lemon butter sauce, offering a comforting yet refreshing twist to your dinner routine.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and add them to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release any browned bits.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the creamy sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For a flavorful twist, consider marinating the chicken in lemon juice for an hour before cooking. Don’t skip deglazing the pan for added flavor!
