  • 8 oz pasta (whole wheat or high protein)
  • 1 lb ground beef (lean)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onion and minced garlic until translucent in a large skillet.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat and add the heavy cream (or Greek yogurt) and Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
