  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any bits stuck to the bottom of the pan.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and dried Italian herbs, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
