A warm and comforting creamy beef pasta that combines lean ground beef, fresh spinach, and a rich sauce for a delicious weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the Fettuccine: Bring a large pot of salted water to boil. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Ground Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it apart until fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in fresh spinach until wilted.
  4. Create the Creamy Sauce: Reduce heat to low and pour in heavy cream along with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Simmer gently for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine the Pasta: Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat each noodle in the creamy sauce. If too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  6. Serve it Up!: Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked pepper.

Notes

This dish pairs well with garlic bread and a garden salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
