  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan, ensuring it’s ready for the batter.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Mix together the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until everything is well blended.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Mix the additional sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle it generously over the batter.
