A delicious twist on classic cinnamon rolls, these soft and fluffy bars are infused with cinnamon and topped with a sweet glaze, perfect for any occasion.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix well.
  5. Combine the flour mixture and milk alternately into the butter mixture.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared dish.
  7. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over the base layer.
  8. Add spoonfuls of remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth for the glaze, then drizzle over bars.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.
