A delightful fusion of banana bread and cinnamon rolls, this Cinnamon Roll Banana Bread offers a soft, moist texture swirled with sweet cinnamon goodness.

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and grease the pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas and mix with butter: In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.
  3. Combine baking soda and salt: Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  4. Whisk in sugar, egg, and vanilla: Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Flour power – Add the all-purpose flour: Gently fold in the flour until just combined.
  6. Prepare the cinnamon sugar mixture: In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and brown sugar.
  7. Layer the banana and cinnamon mixture: Pour half of the banana mixture into the prepared pan, then layer with half of the cinnamon mixture. Repeat the layers and swirl gently.
  8. Bake to perfection: Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Drizzle the sweet glaze: Mix the powdered sugar with milk to create a glaze, then drizzle over the cooled banana bread.

Notes

Wrap tightly to store at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for a week. Freeze in slices for up to 3 months.
