Instructions

  1. Whisk the dry ingredients: In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter and whisk gently.
  3. Merge the wet and dry: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Heat the skillet: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter or oil.
  6. Pour the batter: Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  7. Flip and cook to perfection: Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with syrup or toppings of your choice.
