A delightful twist on classic comfort food made with crispy fries, rich gravy, poached eggs, and creamy Hollandaise sauce.

Ingredients

  • Crispy golden fries
  • Tender poached eggs
  • Sausage gravy
  • Homemade Hollandaise sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Fries according to package instructions or make them from scratch.
  2. Poach the eggs until the whites are set but yolks are still runny.
  3. Heat the sausage gravy in a saucepan until warm.
  4. Whisk together egg yolks, lemon juice, and water for the Hollandaise.
  5. Assemble by layering fries, poached eggs, sausage gravy, and Hollandaise on a plate.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

For perfectly poached eggs, swirl the water to create a whirlpool. Use melted butter that’s not hot for the Hollandaise.
