  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream the butter and sugar: In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract and Biscoff cookie butter.
  5. Combine the dry and wet mixtures gradually, alternating with buttermilk.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Top with crushed Biscoff cookies before serving.
