A lighter take on the classic smash burger, this bowl is packed with all the delicious flavors and fresh ingredients, served on a bed of crunchy lettuce.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cheese, shredded (optional)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  2. Add the ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 4-5 minutes, breaking it up as it browns.
  3. Prepare the sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Assemble a bed of chopped lettuce in each serving bowl.
  5. Pile the cooked beef high on the lettuce.
  6. Top with halved cherry tomatoes, sliced red onions, and pickles. Optionally, sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  7. Drizzle with the prepared sauce before serving.
