A delightful combination of rich brownie and chewy cookie dough, these Browkies are perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup cookie dough (pre-made or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, then layer the cookie dough over it.
  8. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temp.
