A whimsical twist on classic apple pie, these Apple Pie Tacos combine cinnamon-spiced apples with crispy vanilla wafers and a drizzle of caramel.

Ingredients

  • Crispy vanilla wafers
  • Apples (sliced)
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Caramel sauce
  • Butter
  • Cream cheese (optional for filling)
  • Whipped cream (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the sliced apples with cinnamon and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the apple mixture. Cook until softened.
  4. Lay out the vanilla wafers and fill each with the cooked apple mixture.
  5. Blend cream cheese with a bit of sugar to create a creamy filling (optional).
